Transitional Shelters:

Joseph House (Santa Ana, CA):
Transitional shelter for 20 homeless single men. This program includes men 21 years and over and veterans.

Regina House (Santa Ana, CA):
Transitional shelter for 7 homeless mothers and their children.

Emmanuel House (Santa Ana, CA):
Transitional shelter for 21 homeless single adults living with HIV/AIDS.

Assisi House (Ontario, CA):
Transitional shelter for 8 single men, 8 single women, 6 mothers and their children.

Trinity House (Pomona, CA):
Transitional shelter for 5 homeless single men.

Our Program:

Our transitional housing is available to residents for 6 -24 months depending on individual case management plan.

Every resident that lives in our shelters adheres to specific programs that promote their welfare. Each homeless individual that Mercy House serves receives direct personal care through our Planning for Success Program, Wellness Program, and Learning Matters Program.

  • The Planning for Success Program’s objective is to improve material and financial self-sufficiency.
  • The Wellness Program’s objective is to improve the mental and physical health conditions of the clients.
  • The Learning Matters Program’s objective is to increase knowledge and modify behavior.

Eligibility:

  • You must be homeless
  • All Mercy House Programs are drug and alcohol free
  • Must be employed, readily employable or going to school
  • Specific criteria may vary by program
